If I had to pick an Instagram account that I have a major crush on, it would be The Wing. If you haven't heard of this incredible women-powered coworking network, then you need to check out their feed. ASAP. It's not every day that I fantasize about completely overhauling my home design, but The Wing gives me endless style envy. Wait until you see why.
The Wing was founded in 2016 and has continued to expand its footprint and impact, both nationally and internationally. With 10 existing spaces and 3 more set to open in 2020, their mission is "the professional, civic, social, and economic advancement of women through community." And they mean it. Not only do they support and celebrate their female members, they also partner with women in all areas of their business. In fact, their architect, Alda Ly, and interior designer, Chiara de Rege, are both female, and have put their creative forces together to cultivate a distinctive and coveted identity for The Wing's spaces.
Now, you may be thinking, "okay, but what makes it so special?" Before I give you all the eye candy, I'll just say this: The Wing is a fusion. In perfect symbolism, The Wing weaves vibrancy with neutrals, blends styles from a range of decades, and layers decadent and rugged textures; just as each woman is entirely unique, each vignette in the Wing is beautifully original.
