Fresh Finds to Start the New Year
As we prepared to flip the calendar to a new year, the Eclectic Goods team was hard at work getting some new pieces for the store. A new year may be symbolic to many, but after a year as wild as 2020, we're sure we weren't alone in being pretty eager for a fresh start. We are still spending plenty of time at home, and will be for the foreseeable future, so it's still a great time to update areas of your home that are feeling lackluster. Be sure to check out our trend predictions for 2021 for some inspiration as you dive into planning!

If you haphazardly threw a work area together or never took time to modernize your home office, it's still worth creating a functional and stylish space. Many companies have announced they'll continue an element of remote work indefinitely. Establishing a dedicated room or area for work not only helps you stay productive, it also helps create balance. We no longer have a commute to create a mental divide between professional and personal, so it's more important than ever to establish those boundaries. We knew that home offices would continue to be a focus this year, so we've been sourcing some furnishings that are as practical as they are pretty.
Remember how we mentioned balance? We meant it! It's more important than ever to come together with your partner or kids and just have fun. Given that the living room is a prime family zone, don't overlook the multifunctional nature of any new furnishings you buy. For example, opting for an oversized coffee table gives you space for board games or puzzles. Poufs might usually be a foot rest, but can serve as a soft extra seat if your room doesn't allow for a sofa that fits your whole family.
Your bedroom should serve as a sanctuary for you to unwind from the day, or during the day! Since you might be balancing kids at home, pets running around, and working from home, it's helpful to have a calming spot to escape. This past year has brought a lot of stress, so you deserve to treat yourself to an updated suite to call your own.
There is truly so many additional goods in the store, including dining room furniture, lighting, accents, rugs, and more! Check it out for yourself: click here.
